Rob works out of the Portland Vial Fotheringham Office, and specializes in Estate Planning (wills/trusts/family business succession), Probate, Guardianship/Conservatorship, Real Estate (sales/leases), HOA law, and Business (corporations/partnerships/LLCs/contracts)
Professional Experience:
Since 1985, Rob has regularly advised clients on wills, revocable living trusts, gift planning, irrevocable trusts, charitable giving strategies (outright gifts and charitable trusts), powers of attorney for financial decision-making, and advance directives for healthcare decision-making. The majority of Rob's new clients are referred to him by current clients who have come to rely on him for providing outstanding estate planning legal work at a reasonable cost.
Rob's broad business and real estate experience is a natural result of his estate planning practice, with many of these clients seeking assistance with their businesses (corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies), contract and lease negotiations, and succession planning.

Rob presents free estate planning seminars in libraries, community and senior centers, and conference facilities throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington

Personal/Family:
Rob was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He and his wife were married in 1982 and have five beautiful children. Today, Rob and his family are happy to call Hillsboro, Oregon home.
