Professional Experience:

Prior to law school, Andrea worked in various capacities for tribal and state entities in Alaska and the Russian Far East. During law school, Andrea worked as a legal intern for her Alaska Native Corporation, as a research assistant to a professor of Federal Indian Law, and as a law clerk at a firm that specializes in Federal Indian Law.

Andrea was born and raised in rural Alaska and is an enrolled citizen of the Native Village of Kotzebue. While in law school, she met her husband Michael in a contracts class, and now they reside in Portland. During her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with family, berry picking, hiking, quilting, and skin sewing.
